WAMC On The Road is packing up the minivan and heading to Annandale-On-Hudson for a live broadcast of The Roundtable at The Olin Humanities Building at Bard College. Joe Donahue will host the three-hour live broadcast along with engaging panelists and special guests on topics inspired by The JOY: Loving the World in Dark Times conference, hosted by the Hannah Arendt Center.
Doors will open at 8:30 a.m., where you’ll mingle with our panel, fellow WAMC members and staff. The Roundtable Live is 9am – 12pm.
The Hannah Arendt Center’s 17th annual fall conference on “JOY: Loving the World in Dark Times” explores the profound meaning of joy as a deep and necessary act of loving the world, even in our most challenging times. Bringing together notable speakers with diverse narratives and insights at Bard College in Annandale, the conference will be a vital conversation around fostering resilience and a timely exploration of joy as a crucial lens for finding meaning and connection amidst today’s fractured world.
